Committed to creating "accessible high-end living" for global consumers, CASTLERY sought a reliable partner to customize canvas bags as supporting shopping supplies for its stores to enhance the in-store shopping experience.
Brand Goals
CASTLERY aimed to obtain high-quality custom canvas bags that align with its brand image, serving as supporting shopping supplies in stores. These bags needed to strictly reflect the brand’s color scheme and quality standards to strengthen brand recognition. Additionally, it expected its supply chain partner to flexibly respond to repeat order needs and meet international logistics and quality inspection requirements.
Challenges Faced
Extremely high color requirements: No color deviation was allowed for the brand logo and fabric color, demanding strict precision in printing and material selection.
Stringent quality control: Sewing lines must be neat; issues such as skewed cross-stitching, incorrect stitching paths, and size errors were unacceptable.
Risks of third-party inspection: Bulk goods had to first be sent to a third-party QC warehouse for inspection and could only be shipped to Singapore if they passed. Any failure in inspection would result in rejection.
Solutions
Color and sample control: Gahumi retained confirmed color and printing samples. Before each bulk production, new confirmation samples were sent to the third-party warehouse to ensure consistency.
Strict quality management: A professional sewing team was assigned to focus on stitch neatness and size accuracy. Pre-inspections were conducted following third-party standards before shipment.
Flexible cooperation support: Gahumi supported international Alipay payments and foreign exchange transfers, agreed on exchange rates, and offered exchange rate fluctuation difference deduction services. For domestic transfers, it could provide public-to-public invoicing.
